What do I need to do before your technicians arrive?
Our specialists ask that you remove any blockages, such as furniture or other items, so that they have easy access to your vents and ducts. For many additional answers to our customers’ questions, visit our informative new FAQ section below.
Will air duct cleaning reduce my energy bills?
Yes. When your HVAC system is cleaned, it allows your system to work more efficiently. Debris is removed from the system’s mechanical components allowing them to work more efficiently. Your system is also less likely to break down as often when cleaned regularly.
Which parts of my ductwork will be cleaned?
Most air duct systems consist of three major parts; the HVAC system air handler itself; the return and supply grills; and the interior surfaces of the supply and return vents. All three of these parts must be cleaned thoroughly so that any contaminates won’t spread to the cleaned sections. For additional information, contact our staff today.
Is a plastic dryer duct an effective solution?
While it is inexpensive and easy to install, a plastic dryer duct is not a good choice. Since it isn’t smooth, it can easily get clogged with lint. Furthermore, it is inflammable, and this increases the risk of fire starting from the dryer spreading across the house. You should also keep in mind that the plastic can easily get brittle and crack.
